An exclusive safari that gives you an opportunity to experience the orphaned but playful chimps of Ngamba Island, the habituated chimps of Kibale and the mountain gorillas of Bwindi impenetrable, view the tree climbing lion in Ishasha and experience the salt lick in lake Mburo.

Day one: Arrival and transfer to Kampala - 42km.
On arrival at the airport, you will be met by our guide who will then transfer you to Golf course hotel/Cassia lodge/ The lodge for the dinner and over night


Day Two: Kampala - Kibale Forest (450 km approx. 5-6 hours).
After breakfast, you will depart Kampala for Kibale Forest National park arriving in the afternoon. Kibale Forest is a large protected block of rainforest, which has the highest number of primates in Africa such as Chimpanzees, Grey Cheeked Mangabey, Red Tailed monkey and Red Colobus. In the afternoon, you will go for Chimpanzee tracking in the forest returning in the evening. Seeing the way our “cousins” feed, climb trees, and respond to humans, caring for the young ones is a very interesting experience. Dinner and over night at either Primate lodge/Primate cottages/Chimpanzee guest house


Day Three: Chimpanzees trekking Kibale Forest National park
After breakfast you will go for chimpanzee tracking. This park has the largest concentration of chimpanzees and other primates in Uganda.  You will return for lunch and then visit the Bigodi wetland swamp. Dinner and over night at either Primate Lodge/Primate cottages/Chimpanzee guest house


Day Four: Kibale - Queen Elizabeth National Park. (Approx. 3-4 hours drive)
After breakfast you will drive to Queen Elizabeth national park, on arrival you will go for a nature walk in Maramagambo forest for bird watching. In the late afternoon you will go for a game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mweya safari lodge/Hippo hill Camp/Simba safari camp


Day Five: game drives and birding
Birding In UgandaYou will go for an early morning game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast, go to Maramagambo forest for bird watching and then to Kazinga channel for a boat cruise, these areas is blessed with various bird species like the Pelicans, Skimmers, Kingfishers, Thick-knees, Storks, Martins, Swallows, Weavers, Canaries, Kites and many grassland specialties. Dinner and overnight at Mweya safari lodge/Hippo hill Camp/Simba safari camp


Day Six: Queen Elizabeth - Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast have a morning game drive in the Ishasha sector and then proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will have a lunch en-route and then proceed to reach Bwindi in the late afternoon. Depending on the time of arrival you will do a community walk. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla resort/Lake Kitandara camp/ Buhoma community Bandas


Gorilla Tracking UgandaDay Seven: Gorilla Tracking
After breakfast you will transfer to the park headquarters for the briefing by the park guides, before you set off for the trek.  The trek has no fixed duration time as it depends on the last night of where the apes slept from how ever it may be 2-9 hours depending on the movement of the giant primates. The activity is tiresome, it involves walking along steep hilly tracks however encountering these great relatives of man erases all the poor memories/ hardships you went through in trying to find them.  They are awe-inspiring! Dinner and overnight at Gorilla resort/Lake Kitandara camp/ Buhoma community Bandas


Day Eight: Bwindi - Lake Mburo National Park. (Approx. 6.5 hours drive).

This morning you will drive to Lake Mburo National Park. Lake Mburo National Park has markedly different fauna to other Parks and reserves, and it’s the best place in the country to see the gigantic eland antelope, as well as Zebra, topi, impala, and several acacia -associated birds. Dinner and over night at the Mantana Tented camp/Arcadia cottages/Rwonyo camp

Day Nine:  salt lick nature walk then Kampala
After breakfast, have a salt lick nature walk where you will view at least 4 different animal species as they lick the salty soil. Proceed to Kampala having a stop to look at the Equator for souvenirs. Dinner and overnight at Golf course hotel/Cassia lodge/ The lodge


Day Ten: Ngamba Island.
After breakfast, you will take a boat from Entebbe pier andthen head for Ngamba Island to spend a day with the orphaned chimps. Watch the chimps feed and play and take a forest walk with them. Dinner and over night at Golf course hotel/Cassia lodge/ The lodge


Day Eleven: Departure
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport and later fly out depending on International flight departure times.
