Day 1: Airport pickup
Meet at the Airport dinner and overnight at cassia lodge in Kampala.
Day 2: Entebbe / Kampala - Murchison Falls National Park.
After breakfast drive to Zziwa Rhino sanctuary for Rhino viewing, proceed to Murchison Falls National Park stopping in Masindi for lunch. You will visit the top of the falls and check in at Sambiya River Lodge or Red Chili Camp. Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 3: Game viewing and wildlife seeing in Murchison Falls
Go for an early morning game drive. In the afternoon take a boat cruise on River Nile up to the bottom of the falls, you may see various water birds like the rare shoebill and animals like hippos and crocodiles. You will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight
Day 4: Murchison falls to Kibale/Fort Portal
You will have an early morning game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast and then drive to Fort Portal. Dinner and overnight at Ndali Lodge/ Kanyanchu Bandas
Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast you will go for gorilla tracking, return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon you will visit Bigodi Swamp Eco site sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge
Day 6: Semliki National Park and Queen Elizabeth Park
After breakfast you will visit Semuliki National park to the see the hot springs and if possible the pygmies and other primates. Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Dinner and overnight at mweya safari lodge/mweya hostel
Day 7: Boat cruising and game viewing in Queen Elizabeth
You will go for an early morning game drive and in the afternoon you will take a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight
Day 8: Queen Elizabeth National Park. - Bwindi.
You will go for an early morning game drive. During the drive you will be able to see various animals like the lions, elephants, Uganda cobs and so many others. After the drive you will return to the lodge for breakfast and then lunch. After lunch you will drive to Bwindi forest national park. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or camp
Day 9: Gorilla tracking - Bwindi Forest
Gorilla tracking activity begins very early in the morning. After an early morning breakfast you will go for gorilla tracking. During tracking you will be able to see other primates like l’hoest monkey, black and white colobus monkey, red tailed monkey and many others. In the evening you will go for a guided nature walk. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla resort/Buhoma community bandas
Day 10: village walk-Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast you will take a Nature walk/village walk and after lunch transfer to Kabale to overnight at Acadia cottages /Habuharo Lodge/Overland camp.
Day 11: Kabale – Lake Mburo
Full day at the lake, visiting the different islands on the lake, take a boat ride and then visit the Batwa pygmies. Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 12: Nshenyi Village
Leave for Nshenyi village via Ntungamo. A fascinating route takes you through hidden beauty of Ankole kingdom. Lunch enroute. Experience a peaceful traditional way of living in the countryside. Overnight at Nshenyi Village
Day 13: Nshenyi Village
Early morning go to the field, participate in milking the adorable long horned Ankole cattle. Return for breakfast. Take a walk to bahima village. A chance to explore the local villages, learn the skill of setting out cows to graze (okusetura) or climb the surrounding hills. Evening, enjoy the traditional dancing, bask under the moonlight and let the African rhythms refresh your mind. A natural gift of melody and dance, sweet sounds of guitar will sooth you to sleep. Dinner and overnight at Nshenyi Village
Day 14 departure
Return to Kampala after breakfast and transfer to the airport for your departure flight
