3 3 DAYS BWINDI GORILLA SAFARI
Day 1: Kampala-Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast drive south west to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will have a lunch en-route in Mbarara and then proceed to reach Bwindi in the late afternoon. Depending on the time of arrival you will do a community walk. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla resort/Engagi lodge/Lake Kitandara camp/Buhoma community bandas
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking
After breakfast you will transfer to the park headquarters for the briefing by the park guides, before you set off for the trek. The trek has no fixed duration time as it depends on the last night of where the apes slept from how ever it may be 2-9 hours depending on the movement of the giant primates. The activity is tiresome, it involves walking along steep hilly tracks however encountering these great relatives of man erases all the poor memories/ hardships you went through in trying to find them. They are awe-inspiring! Dinner and overnight at Gorilla resort/Engagi lodge/Lake Kitandara camp/Buhoma community bandas
Day 3: Kampala
After breakfast you will drive back to Kampala, arriving in the early evening.
