8 DAYS UGANDA PRIMATE SAFARI
Spend a week exploring the south west of Uganda. This safari gives you encounters of Uganda rich biodiversity. Track the endangered mountain gorilla following it through thick afro montane forest, watch the chimpanzees denesting and enjoy boat cruises with stunning wild and bird life views.
Day1- Arrival
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by our company representative who will transfer you to Kampala for your dinner and overnight at Cassia Lodge/The

Day 2 -Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, you will depart for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest; you will have lunch en-route. You will arrive in Bwindi the home of the endangered mountain gorillas in the evening. Dinner and overnight at the Gorilla resort/Engagi lodge/Lake Kitandara camp/Buhoma community bandas
Day 3 – Gorilla tracking
After breakfast you will go for briefing, and then you will be escorted by ranger guides into the forest in search of the gorillas. Depending on the movement of the gorillas it will take you around 2-8 hours. The time taken to find them and the terrain varies according to the movements of these marvelous primates. The thrill of viewing and observing the gorillas is a rare and exciting adventure. Return to your lodge after an hour spent with the gorillas. Day 4 – Ishasha Queen Elizabeth National park
After breakfast, you will drive through the Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Go for the game drive in the open savannah on the edge of the Albertine Rift Valley. You will search for the typical tree climbing lions found only in this part of the country. In the afternoon proceed to Mweya Safari Lodge/Hippo hill camp/Simba safari camp for dinner and overnight
Day 5 - Boat cruise
Today you will go for an early morning game drive along Kasenyi tracks and the Queens mile where you may be able to see lions, elephants, Cape buffalo, warthogs, leopard, spotted hyena, mongoose, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, topi and a lot of small animals and birds. Return to the lodge for breakfast. After lunch, go for a boat cruise for the best navigation of the Kazinga Channel, a good opportunity for birding, as you will see many water birds, cormorants, pelicans, eagles, and many other birds as well as crocodiles, hippos, elephants, buffaloes. In the evening you proceed to Fort Portal for dinner and overnight at Primate lodge/Primate cottages/Chimpanzee guest house
Day 6 - Chimpanzees trekking Kibale Forest National park
After breakfast you will go for chimpanzee tracking. Kibale national park has the largest concentration of chimpanzees and other primates in Uganda. You will return for lunch and then visit the Bigodi wetland swamp. Dinner and overnight at Primate lodge/Primate cottages/Chimpanzee guest house
Day 7 - Kampala
After breakfast you will drive back to Kampala. Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 8 - Departure
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight
