9 DAYS RWANDA & UGANDA GORILLA TRAIL
Day 1: Arrival at Kanombe Airport
Our driver guide will meet you on arrival in Kigali and transfer you to your hotel. Dinner and overnight at Kigali Serena/ Milles Collines/ Beauséjour guest house
Day 2: Gorilla Tracking In Rwanda
Early in the morning after breakfast you will drive to Ruhengeri in the North – first trekking in the bamboo forests of Volcanoes National Park and visit to one of the last mountain gorilla families in the world, one of the absolute highlights in the lives of many nature lovers – optional visit to a group of local witch doctors and fortune tellers as well as the “snake man”. Dinner and over night at Gorilla Nest Lodge/La Palme Hotel/Muhabura Hotel
Day 3: To Kabale
Today after breakfast you will go Golden monkey tracking. When you return after will drive to Kabale for dinner and overnight at Arcadia cottages/Bird nest at Bunyonyi/Bunyonyi overland camp
Day 4: to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast transfer to Queen Elizabeth. After lunch you will go for a game drive in the carter lakes region. Dinner and overnight at Mweya safari lodge/Hippo Hill Camp/Simba safari camp
Day 5: the Launch Cruise along the Kazinga Channel
Go for an early morning game drive along the Kasenyi tracks to spot the early risers Return to the lodge for a late breakfast and then lunch and then go for an afternoon launch cruise on Kazinga channel. Dinner and overnight at Mweya safari lodge/Hippo Hill Camp/Simba safari camp
Day 6: to Kibale National Park
After breakfast transfer to Kibale national park in the after noon then visit Bigodi swamp for bird watching. Dinner and overnight at the Primate Lodge/Primate Cottages/Chimpanzee Guest House
Day 7: chimpanzee tracking
After breakfast you will transfer to Kanyanchu headquarters for chimp tracking. After spending an hour with the chimps you will return to your lodge for relaxation and later lunch. In the afternoon you will have a crater tour around the neighboring villages. Dinner and overnight at the Primate Lodge/Primate Cottages/Chimpanzee Guest House
Day 8: Transfer to Kampala
After breakfast you will drive back to Kampala at leisure making a stopover at the equator for souvenirs. Arrive in Kampala late afternoon.
