Nevertheless even for the mild hiker available opportunities include hiking Mount Elgon. Volcano climbing is also available with an attempt of the Muhabura and Sabyinyo peaks in Mount Mgahinga national park
Community visits to the local Batwa pygmies to study their way of life can be organized by visiting either the pygmies in Ntandi, Semliki or the Batwa in Kabale Bunyonyi. Cultural trails can also be followed on request with visits to Kasubi tombs, Ssezibwa falls, Amabere caves, Kabaka’s lake and Twekobe place.
